huskies are arctic dogs. in their natural habitat they instinctively stayed away from the water -- as getting wet could well mean danger -they could be at risk of freezing. But with patience and calm training in a warmer environment -- they can learn to accept being in the water and swim.

Put the crate in the room with you. And leave the door open for them. Or just get a dog bed. 🤷🏽‍♂️ and give your dog a treat every time they lay on it. Preferably steak bites. Or cooked chicken. Not a lot its a treat so a few bites and pack the rest for the week.

Yea dude cuz of the way you’re holding him their front legs aren’t the same as our arms they don’t have ball joints in their shoulders so they can’t move up, there for grabbing any dog or cat under the front legs like that I would imagine fuckin hurts especially if you’re a bigger dog like a husky. Learn how to take animals the right way.

I wonder if this is a instinctual fear for huskies when it comes to water. It makes sense when you think in the concept of wet fur on how interacts with arctic air. This fear could be a survival mechanism for the animal to preserve body heat.
